Oh, The Places You'll Go!
I love this book so much. Dr. Seuss is wonderful for all ages. I was given this book when I graduated from high school. It's an encouraging book for me. It talks about how everyone goes through bad times and there is always a lite at the end of the tunnel. I like reading this book when I'm feeling discouraged or stressed out about school or work or life in general. It helps to remind me that there are people who are there to help me through the bad times and there to celebrate with me in good times. I encourage everyone to read this book when you're having a bad day and see if it helps you too.
where the wild things are
I remember reading this book when i was younger and i loved it. I happened to be reading this book out loud while at my boyfriends house. He loved this book also, when he was younger. After reading it I didn't understand the draw to the book anymore. I didn't like it as much as I had when i was younger.

Kitten's First Full Moon
This is a really cute story about a little kitten who had never seen a full moon before and thought it was a big bowl of milk. She decides that she is going to figure out how to get the milk out of the sky. She tried everything she could think of to get this bowl of milk, but in the end she just ended up wet (because she ended up in a lake), tired and hungry. After all of the effort she put in she couldn't get to the bowl of milk in the sky and just went home. When she got there she had a bowl of milk waiting for her on the steps to the house and she was happy.

The Hello, Goodbye Window
The Hello, Goodbye Window by Norton Juster and Chris Raschka is a really cute story about a little girl and her grandparents. When she goes to visit her grandparents, these is a special window that she looks for first. Although it doesn't look any different then the other windows in the house she knows it's different and it's right where she needs it. It's the kitchen window. She explains why it's so special and what comes past the window sometimes. I love this book because it reminds be of what I have with my grandparents. They has a special window at their house also that I could call my Hello, Goodbye Window with them. This is also a multicultural book for those of you who are still looking.

Bread and Jam for Frances
This book did not win any awards, but I would make my mom read it to me everyday before bed. It's about a little girl named Frances. She sings little songs about how she doesn't like eggs and why she loves jam. I loved this book and still read it to my little cousins. This is a book that many children can relate to. I would recommend this book for children between the ages of 3 and 7.
